Brands such as ASUS, Gigabytes, MSI and Intel usually price their motherboard at a higher range because they have big names. If you are willing to scout around, you can find some lesser known brands such as XFX, Abit, Biostar and EVGA that offer a better value for their motherboard.
Review: This motherboard is Unbelievable good looking and Very fast, I was able to overclock a Q6600 with this to FSB 1600MHZ and a DDR2 667MHZ RAM dual channel cards to 1066MHZ WITH EASE! oh well, 5 stars in everything, just ONE con, the integrated sound does NOT have that many decibels.. so if you wanna hear LOUD music.. get ready to get a nice and loud sound card.
